Welcome to the IAPSC Website

IAPSC is a forum for the exchange of information and best practice in the field of air quality measurement and management in the UK. It is intended primarily for those with legal responsibilities for managing air quality but has relevance for industrial process operators and service supply companies. Current membership includes a substantial proportion of the UK's Local Authorities, together with a number of Government Departments (such as Defra), the Environment Agency, and numerous private sector members.

Forthcoming Conference

The next IAPSC conference is to be held on Wednesday 11th June 2008, at the School of Oriental and African Studies, located in the Russell Square area of central London.

Planned topics for the June 2008 conference include:
- Emergency response to incidents potentially affecting air quality
- Transport
- LAQM (including results of recent report on biomass burning plant in London).
