IAPSC/Air Quality Emissions Show Joint Event - 22 November 2018

The IAPSC team at Ricardo Energy & Environment are very pleased to announce that for the winter 2018 event we will be teaming up with the Air Quality & Emissions Show (AQE) again, for another joint AQE and IAPSC event, at the Telford International Conference Centre.

The 10th Air Quality & Emissions Show – an international air quality and emissions conference and exhibition – will focus on industrial air emissions and stack monitoring of (Part A) processes regulated by the Regulators of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, ambient air quality monitoring, the emissions to air of Part A2 and Part B processes controlled by local authorities and SEPA, MCERTS standards and all aspects of air quality monitoring, protection and treatment. The AQE Show will be of direct interest to visitors and delegates from all industries who need updates on legislation, new products and monitoring processes.

The topics for this IAPSC conference are:

  • An update on sensor-based air quality monitoring techniques
  • Engaging the public – and particularly young people – with air quality
  • Green infrastructure and its potential role in LAQM: what is, and isn’t, useful.

We have invited a range of interesting speakers on the above topics and the final agenda is now available.

How will IAPSC fit into the Event?

The Air Quality Emissions Show is a two-day event featuring a large exhibition area, a conference and workshops on case studies and applications, and a Gala Dinner on the evening of the first day, with a guest speaker - Brian Blessed. Day 1 (Wednesday 21 November 2018) will feature the Source Testing Association (STA) conference. Day 2 (Thursday 22 November 2018) will deal with Air Quality. Each day features a conference, and IAPSC will form the conference part of the second day. IAPSC will keep its usual, tried-and-tested format, including speakers from the field of air quality management, while fitting neatly into the two-day programme.

What are the benefits?

By teaming up with the AQE Show in this way, IAPSC delegates can visit two events in one day. There will be time in the lunch and refreshment breaks, and before/after the conference, to visit the exhibitions which will feature over 230 companies, representing over 400 manufacturers.

What will be the theme of the IAPSC Event?

The themes focus around: an update on sensor-based air quality monitoring techniques; the potential role of green infrastructure in LAQM; and the engagement of the public – and particularly young people, with air quality. As usual, we plan to feature a mix of speakers from Local Authorities and experts within the air quality community.

At the Telford International Centre, Telford, Shropshire, TF3 4JH, England. The venue is just over a mile away from Telford’s main rail station: there will be a free shuttle bus to and from the station at the beginning and end of the day. There is also plenty of free on-site parking.

Will it cost any extra?

No – attendance of Day 2 of the show – which features the IAPSC conference – will be priced at the current IAPSC delegate fee of £160.00 plus VAT per delegate. Lunch and refreshments will be included, just as they always are at IAPSC. However, if you would like to attend Day 1, (Wednesday 21 November 2018), the gala dinner, or are interested in exhibiting at the AQE Show, this should be booked and paid for separately via AQE – please see their web site at http://www.aqeshow.com/index/
