IAPSC Conferences are
held twice yearly in June and December. The subjects for each conference are agreed by the Agenda
Committee. Recent topics have included:
- Regional Monitoring Networks and their role in Air Quality Management
- Particulate Source Apportionment
- Air Quality Management Areas and Action Plans
- Health Implications of Air Pollution
- European Union and National Developments in Air Quality Policy
- Particles
The membership fee entitles member organisations to send two delegates
to each of the two 6-monthly conferences (i.e. four delegate places per
year).

The next IAPSC conference is to be held on Wednesday 11th June 2008, at
the School of Oriental and African Studies, located in the Russell
Square area of central London.
Planned topics for the June 2008 conference include:
- Emergency response to incidents potentially affecting air
quality
- Transport
- LAQM (including results of recent report on biomass burning
plant in London).
